Volunteer with Jamie's Legacy

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Jamie's Legacy.  We are in need of occasional/general volunteers, as well as specific Management/Board positions.  We are currently looking to fill the following positions:

 

Occasional/General Volunteers (these positions generally require no previous experience and training will be supplied)

  • Sanctuary Cat Care - approximately 1 - 2 hours for one day or more per week/afternoon and evening hours available (examples of some activities available: cleaning, feeding, socialization, play/personal time)

  • Sanctuary Maintenance/Grounds Keeping - time, day and hours flexible (examples of some activities available based on skill and interest: minor repairs/maintenance to facility buildings/fencing, gardening, tree trimming, mowing)

  • TNR Trap-Neuter-Return - hours/days depending on TNR scheduling (examples of some activities available: setting and monitoring traps, pre and post op care of cats, transporting to and from spay/neuter appointments, returning and releasing cats back to territory, pre and post trapping set-up and clean-up)

  • Fundraising - hours/days depending on event scheduling (examples of some activities available:  set-up of booth, assisting visitors to booth with questions/purchases, tear down of booth, participating in other fundraising activities as needed)

 

Management/Board Volunteers (these positions require experience or transferable skill sets and a more specific time commitment)
